I have a 20 year old son, Richmond who is fighting for his life with liver cancer because he was made to take Ritalin for ten years beginning at age 7. This was mandated by the School he attended Francis W. Parker of Chicago Illinois. His diagnosis - normal energetic 7 year old. That is what we called energetic children when I was a child and the energy was expended through recess and a balanced diet.

Teachers were dedicated to students then and took pride in their jobs and looked at their position as a profession instead of a day of babysitting for a paycheck. With the no left behind mentality in schools today, children are passing from one grade to another without the benefit of mastering coursework.

The schools answer to energetic children today is to drug them. Every child is in danger of being carelessly medicated for the sake of control without any consideration for long term damage to either the child's mind or body.

Medication is notoriously administered by CPS the very instant that a child is abducted and jailed in their locked down facilities, which they use prior to placement, to ensure control of the child.

Children who have never needed medication before, now have diagnosis of depression or ADHD or anything else that a Psychiatrist can think of in the effort to promote one drug or another which is profitable to their respective practices.

While the state claims that this is in the best interest of the child, it is actually in the best interest of each individual agency and Doctor who participates because they are in fact the only people who benefit.

This is nothing short of MEDICAL MALPRACTICE.
